Over the years, I have put a lot of thought into how to ask for help with my career. I have been
afraid of doing it wrong and with fear of critique and rejection. Well, I am over that, finally.
Bottom line: I just want to do it in a way that feels good and right to me and hopefully to you
as well. If you are not interested, willing, or able, your continued support and goodwill is
just as appreciated.
Your contribution will help to empower Raggin' Piano Boogie to travel down South in the hurricane
affected areas in order to provide musical appearances and performances free of charge. This will be
for individuals and groups, residents and volunteers. Help lighten spirits with a visit from Raggin'
Piano Boogie to a town having difficulty or a visit to a specific family friend who is special and
dear to you. Your contribution will help defray the cost of the truck, equipment, sound system,
travel, and ongoing expenses. I am only looking to cover my basic costs and that will run into the many
thousands of dollars. Just think about the price of a truck alone.
The performances will be Ragtime and Boogie Woogie and/or Piano Improvisation outdoors or indoors.
More preferably on the truck. The offering is also open for other piano players and pianists to perform
any style or level of music from the truck.

| $25 |
Your donation of $25 will get you an autographed Raggin' Piano Boogie poster which
is a one of a kind poster, 17" X 24", not sold in any store. The caption at the bottom: "Practice
and the Music Will Come". This will also pay for shipping in a poster tube and handling.

| $75 |
Donate an earmarked reservation for a thirty minute set, the opportunity for any
musician to play the piano on the Raggin' Piano Boogie truck weather it be for a group or
just for themselves. This of course needs to be feasible when considering travel time and
where I am located at any present moment. |
| $100 |
Will provide for a 30 minute improvisational set of piano music anywhere, anytime,
any place, on or off the Raggin' Piano Boogie truck. Of course, if the performance is in a hall
or on someone's personal piano the instrument needs to work and be somewhat in tune! |
| $200 |
Create a Piano Gram for someone. This is a great surprise for people and fun
anticipation because it is so different.

| $400 |
$400 will provide for a private concert. This is about an hour of time to give
to an individual, family or group of your choosing. We can also form a lottery or perform
wherever the good lord happens to plop us on any given day. Boner and I can create a spontaneous
stop-offs anywhere for people who look like they need a little pick-me-up or are working say,
cleaning in an area or rebuilding. |
| $600 |
a performance for a community group event for about a two-hour period. We will show
up, perform, hang out and socialize. |
| $800 |
will provide for a parade, this is with non-stop music along the entire parade route
and can include a pre-hype of the parade route as well as for the parade itself or for music during
the parade between units. |
| $900 |
gives a company barbecue or picnic in the field, on the deck, in a courtyard for an
employee breakfast, lunch or dinner. Boner and I will create the energy. |
| $1000 |
will create entertainment for a store or shopping center with three to four hours of
entertainment in one or more areas on or off site. |
| $1200 |
will provide for a full day of performance for a rural community or town or in a city with
up to five separate appearances depending on the locations. This is about twenty minutes of
performance time with set-up and teardown along with the hello's and goodbyes. |
| $5 |
Contribute whatever you can, whether it's $5.00 or whatever. I will send everyone a
personal thank you. Whatever you give will help to pay for a toll, a couple gallons of gas, a
sandwich, small bag of dog treats etc. |
I will provide transport, lodging, and food for Boner and myself. Of course, if you can help provide
accommodations or know of anyone who can, that would be a big help! I have a feeling I may end up sleeping
in the truck more than one night when traveling through rural areas. Anything beyond that, say if you have
specific staging needs, that will be your responsibility. The setting and necessary requirements, along with
any hospitality, should be discussed before a firm commitment is made. Raggin' Piano Boogie will assume worker's
comp, personal injury, and liability responsibility for the piano guy, dog, and truck. And of course, there will
be pictures for you.
