Advice and FAQ
Is ordering from you on the Internet safe and secure?
Generally it is just as safe to order online as it is to pay using your credit
or debit card. Paypal uses a security certificate which guarantees that we are
who we say we are.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes, we ship globally but if it is outside of the USA I would need to apply
shipping costs for the item so please contact us about that before you pay.
How long will it take for my item to arrive?
Orders will be despatched as soon as possible after I recieve the payment receipt
or a check that has been deposited clears... definitely within a week unless you
need it sooner... then I can send express mail but you will need to pay the extra
shipping costs. You will receive an e-mail upon despatch to notify you that your
package is in the mail.
How to we handle the transfer of large items such as furniture and heavy packages
that are too large to ship?
I will work with you to arrange a pickup of the items or I would be willing to even
deliver them to you if possible.
What should I do if I have problems placing my order?
If you have a problem at any point please e-mail me through the "Contact Us" link.
Be sure to include all of the neccessary contact information to be able to get back to you.
Can I change my order after it has been submitted?
I can exchange an item for one of equal value before it is shipped but please be
quick with your request. Email me through the "Contact Us" link and I will arrange
to change the order. Once you pay through Paypal... a financial exchange will be
very confusing as I am working as an individual and have no team to help. If it is
super important I will address the issue. Please consider your contribution as a donation.
Can I cancel my order after it has been submitted?
You can only cancel your order prior to payment or dispatch. If you wish to cancel
an order you've placed please send a message through the "Contact Us" link with
all of your information.
What do I do if I've placed a duplicate order?
If you order twice by mistake send a message through the "Contact Us" link. I will
cancel the order. You can only cancel an order prior to it being paid or despatched.
What if i do not like the item, it is not what I expected or I just want and
to return it and get my money back?
All donations to the website are final. I have done my best to describe everything
clearly and create the most realistic picture possible for each item. Please ask
all questions and address any hesitancy before you contribute.
Even though you may find a "deal" on this website, that is not the purpose for it.
Everything presented on this website is offered with a spirit of graditude with a
specific contribution in mind.
Why didn't I receive an email confirming my order?
The normal reason for not receiving your order confirmation is that you are using a
Hotmail account or similar as your email address and you have exceeded your mail
quota or the message has been spam filtered. The other reason is that you accidentally
entered your email address wrongly when you registered it or you did not enter
all of the neccessary information. I could also have lost it so please use the
"Contact Us" and inquire about the problem.
How can I send the contribution?
I can accept cash, and you can send a check or money order and also use Paypal which
accepts payment by all major credit cards and debit cards such as Mastercard, Visa
Debit, Mastercard, Discover, Bank etc...
When am I charged for my order?
All credit card, debit card transactions are debited at the time you submit your
order to paypal. The transaction will be shown on your statement under my name
or the paypal name.
What are your shipping rates?
When you decide on what you would like, please contact me so I can weigh the item
and let you know how much it will cost to ship it. Of course, all shipping will
be at cost. Please contact me before you send any money.
I'm not at home during the day. How can I get my goods?
I can offer you the option of giving a delivery address other than your home address
so you could arrange for your goods to be sent to your workplace or a neighbor who
you know is in during the daytime. If the delivery person isn't able to deliver
your order because no one is in, a card will usually be left giving instructions
on how to arrange redelivery.
What do I do if the goods I ordered haven't arrived?
The first thing you should do if your item has not arrived even though I have emailed
you telling you it's been sent, is to contact your local postal delivery office to
see if they are holding your goods for you. If the postal delivery office hasn't
been able to help you, email me through the "Contact Us" link and I will check
things out on my end.
What should I do if my goods were damaged in transit?
I take a great deal of care when packing orders to make sure that the items you've
ordered arrive undamaged, however, occasionally goods do get damaged in transit.
If you discover something in your order is damaged you should email me through the
"Contact Us" link and explain the situation and we can deal with it. Please do not
send the damaged items back without first contacting me.
How do I get you to stop emailing me your newsletter?
I only send about four emails a year. All you have to do is respond to any email
with the word "Unsubcribe" in the subject line.
What are you going to do with the money contributed through the Boner The Dog website?
100% of the proceeds from this site help to fund the Journey of Peregrinating Musical
Exploration... this means to pay the basics bills for food, clothing, lodging, travel,
communication, equipment upkeep etc... in order to continue lifting spirits throughout
the world. The Traveling Piano is a not for profit endever with over two years of history
tracked daily through logs and pictures via the Raggin' Piano Boogie website.
